My current focus is AI engineering — LLM-powered products, RAG pipelines, MCP-driven internal tools, supervised model training, and fine-tuning detection and language models for domain-specific use. I have been building with neural networks since my fleet-optimization days, and I write and speak on practical, spec-driven AI workflows.
Outside the day job, I run a mentorship program for early-career engineers and founded the Rajshahi Professionals Network.
On a personal level, I love DIY projects — I have a 3D printer and I'm building out my own workshop.

- Rolling out the second generation of Cheq's internal AI — an agentic system grounded on a code-verified product map with live tool access — and keeping the platform-wide behavioural specification it runs on current with every release.
- Leading the build of an in-house reporting engine to replace a third-party BI dependency, on top of the data-warehouse programme that replaced the legacy reporting pipeline.
- Running mentorship.bd — a small, direct mentorship for software engineers: 4 cohorts and 21 engineers so far, teaching the engineering craft beyond the code, system design, and building software with AI agents.
- Growing the Rajshahi Professionals Network — a community of technology professionals in Rajshahi I founded in 2026.
- Writing and speaking on practical AI engineering — spec-driven workflows over prompt-fishing.

Senior Engineering Manager of the Core team — leading the engineers, the releases, the internal AI and the platform documentation.
- Leadership. Lead the Core engineering team — a sizeable group of engineers — delivering platform features that serve millions of customers across multiple verticals. Beyond managing and guiding the team, own the release process end to end and work directly with product managers and designers to get the right outcome shipped.
- AI engineering. Built the company's internal AI platform — first a fine-tuned open-weight model as a front-line Q&A system, then an agentic system grounded on a code-verified product map with live tool access. Introduced agentic development practices to the team. Authored, from the ground up, the behavioural specification of the entire platform — 30 product areas, ~200 documents — now the source of truth for engineers and the grounding corpus for the AI. Initiated and ran an agent-driven documentation-drift audit across the whole engineering department.
- Platform architecture. Designed a scalable audit-log platform for investigating system events — redaction, PII handling, dead-letter queue, domain-specific emitters. Led development and delivery of two of the largest feature releases of recent years. Drove several engineering-improvement initiatives to cut technical debt and raise reliability.
- Reporting and data. Led the overhaul of analytical reporting — the single largest source of support load — and the data-warehouse programme that replaced the legacy reporting pipeline. Currently leading the build of an in-house reporting engine to reduce external dependency.
- Process. Redesigned the engineering workflow for the AI era on proven agile practice, and wrote the team's guidelines for investigations, tech support and retrospectives.
